  1. Idk, maiden,sur names?

  2. I think every child should know there parents first name. The parents should teach them that it's disrespectful to call them by it and that the only time it's ok is if they're in trouble or there's an emergency. Do you see the problem a kid gets lost in the store and they can't find mom. It's not going to help an employee of the store if the child has no clue what mom's first name is.

I think you're just looking for parents putting their children at an equal level to them. More of being a friend then a parent.

  3. disrespectful ya you got it right

  4. Disrespectful.

  5. Flippant, disrespectful, confusing to others.

  6. I think most people would call it disrespect.

  7. Sur names. If you don't find it disrespectful than it isn't (if you're the parent). Plenty of parents are okay with it. It's all the parents feelings, I think. Unless it's warranted.

  8. There are more words to describe this behaviour, to some it would indicate that the child would be behaving in a 'condescending' way - Condescend

    or 'patronising', - Patronise

    'demeaning' the parents - Demean

    even 'denigrating' - Denigrate

their status as parents.  Some may find it an honour to be seen as a friend and individual and not just as Mum or Dad, then other may feel insulted by this.
