When the draft of the vessel exceeds the depth of water, it is not going to be a good day.

Oficialy its called running aground and is caused by not paying attention to where your at or not checking your charts,in generic terms its called oh s$%# we dit it again. The saying that explains it states   when the draft of your craft is greater than the depth of the water, you are definately aground!
