I believe the literal answer is ambidextrous.  People aren't really born that way.  It takes time and practice to make yourself equally coordinated with either hand.

     Juggling is a good exercise for this.

     Another answer could take the words "even handed" to mean that the person called this is known to be consistently fair and balanced when dealing with others.

To me 'even handed' is saying that someone is unbiased and fair in their dealings with others.
