When filling out an application, it asks you what position you're applying for. I want to be a cleaner, like sweeping floors, wiping tables, washing dishes, etc. What's the one word that describes that? It has to be a word I can put on my job application (you know, like somewhat professional sounding).

  1. insanity

  2. I worked in restaurants for 15 years, and was a manager for eight years.  The term you are looking for is busser.  You can also use dishwasher, because that job would incorporate all of the job duties in your question here.

  3. Bus Boy

or since you are a girl you can say.

    "bussing tables"

  4. A  busperson...

  5. Usually it is a bus boy clearing tables wiping them down

  6. Busing Tables. But reminder you may get stuck doing dishes and floors and food preparation like my friend did.

  7. Kitchen Worker, Busboy, Dishwasher

  8. Janitor, I believe that would cover the description u gave.

  9. It's not bussing. It's actually called "Stewarding"

It's a job that is done NOT during service hours.

They are responsible for the more detailed cleaning.

It's a more prominent position in hotels, but I know some restaurants that have stewards come in before or after service to do the hard cleaning.
