What is it fair for the Chinese to replace the other girl?

What is fair...Even though the little girl still got to sing shouldn't she have the opportunity to be infront of people, even if she isn't the prettiest girl?

It is fair??  It all the depends on whether the girl who sung got any compensation for singing but not being on stage.  If she got a large monetary compensation then probably it is fair.

The Chinese are totalitarian communists who would probably kill that girl if she tried to say anything. So yes it is unfair. Why do you think  the Chinese have the gold medal total? Of course you'll do well when someones ready to shoot you on the spot if you s***w up.

it was a terrible decision to ruin a girls self asteem so early saying she was "too ugly" to perform.
