  2. the more chemical "capsasin" (not sure about spelling), the more spicy. pressing down on the pepper brings out more capsasin.

  3. Capsaisin.

  4. Capsasin.  It raises your metabolism and makes you sweat. It's not only found in Jalapenos either but in all spicy chili peppers.
