  2. In college, it's all up to you. No one is going to expel you for missing school, or call your mom and dad. But some teachers may have rules concerning tardiness or absenteeism, which will affect your ability to pass.  I think C.C. is a good place to start and get an idea of what you want to do, before you sink money into a university education. Get your associates at a C.C. and get acclamated to college.

my husband says, "don't worry about it, you'll be surrounded by a bunch of other underachievers."  lol. don't mind him.

my sister says, "it's like high school with a bunch of ashtrays."

  3. its pretty lame kinda like high school but no one really cares if you come or go on time.

  4. there are not many rules. you pretty much do as you please. but you will have rules in the computer lab etc so yes in certain places. yes you can leave class early if you need to but i wouldn't recommend it some teachers really don't like it especially if you make it a habit.. as for showing up late you can but all the professors i have had do not like it an will ask you to leave the class it just depends. but the atmosphere is amazing you are pretty much totally free no timetable you dont have a bell an you wont get in trouble for being in the halls. its a real social place but every one there will be probably serious since its college most people take it to heart.. good luck in college wish you the best an i promise you you will have a great experience

  5. Actually teachers don't like it when you come in late or walk out most of them frown on that. Although there is more freedom in a college then high school that is because you are paying for it and they really don't care if you show up or not. There is much more work in a college class compared to a high school so if you not looking to do well then by all means show up when you like but, don't complain about the grade you get. They won't want to hear it. Most classes are perquisites for other classes so if your grade isn't up too par you will have to re-take that class again

  6. You are pretty much expected to act like a grown up. You can come in late or leave early, but the teachers usually don't let you make up work. It is very hard to pass your classes if you don't attend class. I was kinda amazed that you can eat in class. Not like snacks, but you can have your lunch in class.
