In a few months I would like to take my younger brother, his girlfiend, and several of my friends on a cruise. We are in our early 20's and I have heard the Carnival line is appropriate for people our age who enjoy partying. It seems this cruise line is reasonably priced as well, which is a plus considering how many peope I will be paying for.

  1. I've always used Carnival and I love them.  There is something for everyone and always things going on constantly on the ship.  You won't be sorry...check out their website and you'll be able to find your ship and they have pix and virtual tours of the nightclubs, casino etc.  Have fun!!

  2. carnival is your best bet for partying and your right about the price..after checking on line, go see a travel agent too plan your cruise..the prices are about the same and the service from the agent will make for a better trip

  3. i hope all of you are at least 21. if you are not then someone has to be at least 25. but my first cruise was when i was 22 and it was carnival and we had a blast. you always find good deals going to mexico or bahamas

  4. I do not care what anyone says I will ONLY go Carnival. I HATE Royal Caribbean.  Carnival has more options that any other cruise line has. You dont have to particpate in them all. Or you can. I have seen many older couples having a ball on a carnival cruise. The food is fantastic. Especially the warm chocolate melting cake and prime rib. NO better food, No better activities and NO better price.  Rooms are larger and service was the same from Royal.

How many people here likes Carnival over Royal?

  5. Carnival is awesome if you're into having tons of fun, but still having a nice experience.  I actually went on Carnival for the 1st time in Jan & I was skeptical b/c of all the negative reviews... We had a great time & the food, activities & service was comperable to the higher-end ships (Princess, Royal Caribbean).  The only noticible difference was that the ship had sort of an 80's feel (outdated).  But who cares??? we had a blast!!!!

  6. I have been on 6 Carnival cruises, and have had a great time on all of them. Shop around, you can get a really good price, especially if you don't have to go in the summer months. Some cruises offer better deals for 4 or 5 in the room rather than 2. Something you may or may not want to look into. If you like to have fun, there are tons of things to do, including party all night. They don't call it the FUN SHIP for nothing. Have a good time.

  7. Fun.  They really are the "fun ships".  There is non-stop activity.  So many things to do, you can't possibly do it all.  Wonderful, plentiful food.  I love Carnival!

  8. You are correct. Carnival is for younger crowds or people who like to have fun, party and drink. Price is cheap. I've heard that you can find drunken people in the hall way some with throw ups but who knows.

  9. I went on a Carnival Cruise last April and it was AWESOME!! I had a ton of fun and I would definitely reccomend it for people in their 20's.
