  1. You may have heard of the stereotype  of the man who shed the wife his own age for a young blond 1/2 his age.

A "mid-life crisis" can be brought on most any time in the adult life, and is usually triggered by some change or event in the person's life. Probably for most it happens sometime between 35 - 45 yrs of age. For example:  a 40th birthday, or having a child reach his teens. Going to a Dr who is younger than you are or working for a boss who is 1/2 your age.

At some point in your adult life you never quite saw yourself as being THAT OLD.  You question yourself, your goals, your failures, your relationships, where you are going in life.

It feels as if there is some great question you must answer.

Or it may be a sense that your youth is vanishing and you have a great desire to re-capture it in some way.

"Midlife-Crisis" is a deeply disturbing internal - emotional restlessness.  Both questions and fears that may seem irrational or meaningless to others around you, can be burningly intense.  There may be some adjustments that need to be made and some new goal setting, so that you are able and ready to continue living beyond an age or stage you never thought would come.   Some people who have willingly lived in a small house on a small income may become very dissatisfied with that lifestyle, abandoning their spouse and family for "a better life".   There are things that can happen to a person in mid-life that don't make sense and are very out of character.

Such unsettling dissatisfaction can last a number of months to a couple of years.

  2. what is a mifdliede crisis? iw si si is it like a period or .. ha a coma!!

  3. Guys generally start looking at Corvettes. I'm transgender so I bought a used Miata.

Generally my understanding that women start to question their value to the world. They feel guilty for not having had more kids, or kids at all, they question whether they are doing enough in the world while feeling bad at the same time for being out in the world too much and not spending enough time with the kids.

My ex drove herself around like that in circles so badly that finally she was making all of us around her so nuts I had to break up. I got the kid, the car and the house because she wound herself in circles so badly she could not function and gave herself several mental illnesses.

Try hard not to let yourself express so much self doubt this happens to you. Really, its OK. Your kids will turn out OK and the world will not know when you are gone whether you spent the right amount of time with your kids.

  4. about 35 to 45? Not sure about what signs as recently I fail to see anyone that behaves with any sense, perhaps it's me being old fashioned, but for instance those s*x in the City women I think are all in the middle of a crisis, I mean they aren't happy, are they? lol.

  5. between the ages of about 36 to 45, a woman may have this.  or for some it may be a different age.  i had one.  i was 40 and dated someone for three years that was in his twenties.  my thinking changed and i wanted to do things i had never done before. it was basically a fun part of my life.  now that is different from menopause, the change of life thing.  it is not fun.  hot flashes, mood swings, insomnia, crying spells, etc.  menopause is usually in the 50's.

    blessings to you!!!
