What is it like for basics in Fort Benning, GA

Does anyone know what its like in ft benning, georgia? My husband just left for basics there.

I went to basic in ft. benning, watch the movie full metal jacket, and thats exactly what it was like with the exception that they can't hit you anymore, but everything else was exactly what basic was like.
