  1. Hi there

I have had a paper round for 2 years now. It depends on many things, your boss will tell you. Sometimes you will be delivering all the same paper (this is what I do) so it doesn't matter which house. If not, different shops have different systems. Some, will write in each paper the address it is supposed to go to. Some will simply give you a sheet. Sometimes the winter is fine, just buy a pair of black gloves to keep your fingers warm! Once I took a friend on my round when it was snowing and it was some of the best fun we ever had in our lives! I would advise that you look around a few different shops though, look at their rates of pay etc. The shop I work at pays twice as much as one two streets away! Also, ask about the procedure for calling in sick. My special tip is about Christmas. Buy a pack of cards from the pound shop, and make one out to each house, just saying happy Christmas from *insert name here* (your evening paper girl) you get great tips this way! Oh, and be polite to the old ladies, they are by far the best tippers!

  3. my son started a paper round 3 weeks ago and he enjoys it.The addresses are on the papers. He only has alittle round of 20 papers and he gets them done in 30 minutes. What we done before he started his round was we went in the car so that he knew where the streets were. The newsagent is really nice with him and he gets £10 a week but thats just for mornings. He hasn't encountered the winter mornings yet but i don't think they will that bad just wear waterproof clothing and have lights on your bike and you will be fine.
