What is it like in South Korea?

Question

How do people live their life in South Korea? What are their beliefs? Their customs? their values? how do they govern themselves? what is their economy like?

please help me!

hi i lived in korea for my dads work.

its a major shock if you are going there at first the koreans are a little bit gross with some of the things they eat but overall its an ok place and i liked it :)

life here is ok. beautiful country but the people are pretty stupid normally and have the worst breath on the planet. i think its due to them putting a hot pepper paste on every d**n thing that they eat. they are also very predjudiced and dont like foreigners for the most part, especially japanese.  the highways and roads are along the lines of what you would find in the usa, and they also drive on the right side. very few foreign cars are allowed here though so you have to drive hyundais and samsung cars for the most part. the food here sucks and they still have bird flu here. if it was alive at one time in the ocean, they will eat it. a trip to the large fish market in pusan was quite the eye opener. selling live octopus all over the place along with various other normal and some not so normal sea life. you can find just about anything you need to buy here as in the usa, but only in bigger cities. where i live, there isn't a mall for 30mi. and i live in a city where an american army base is. hope this helps

Life in korea is good especially if you know or can get along with people pretty well. night life especially is brilliant. if u attend universities or student, there are ALOT of excursion type events (MT etc.) and its pretty much really fun.

Beliefs? well. in terms of religion? half christian/anglican and half buddist?

values? money! lol. ties with economy and such but korea isn't really powerful in terms of economy. there are the riches and there are poors like every country. but we really value money and competition for jobs are really high.
