What is it like in malibu, california?

Malibu is beautiful, and the surfing there is awesome. There aren't really clubs, but there's a teen and 20something crowd that hangs there all the time, so you'll meet them easily. Just wake up early, bring your board and have a blast.

Teens hang at the Malibu Country Mart where there are cool stores & cafes.

My fav restaurants are Nobu, Geoffreys & Moonshadows. Alice's was great, but it closed forever ago. The Beachcomber Cafe is in it's old location on the Pier now.

You should try to check out the Getty Villa while you're in the Bu if you have the chance. It's really interesting & in a gorgeous setting.

It's way cool.

They have great shops:in different prices ranges.

Also art galleries, the sea food is to die for - try Alices Restaurant.  Anywhere they seat you...the view of the ocean is out of this world.

ALso - just walk around - you'd be surprised how many celebrities you just might catch with their shorts or bathing suits on. I used to live in LA and go to Malibu all the time.
