What is it like in prague?

Question

well i will be flying to prague on july 15 and i will like to know what its like over there?

how is the temperature?

Is there any food i should try?

What stores are good for a female 18yrs old?

And how are the prices compare to here in the US?

Prague is a lovely city and has to rate in my top 5. Its not a huge city but there is enough to do....if not you can go on some day tours to places like Cesky Krumulov which is lovely a little town in southern bohemia.

You can pretty much just spend your days just meandering around the place. Prague castle has a few things to see and some good views over the city.

Charles bridge is lovely to walk across. ......the main town square has some nice things like the astronomical clock or was it astrological clock that lots of people go to see on the hour as it has a cool little "display".....

Food...well i love diumplings which you get a lot with meals but i often ordered extra mmmmm also lots of cabbage and variations of how to use it...i also love cabbage so that was fine. Beef goulash kind of things with a beer (piv) ...i still remember sitting outside a cafe eating that and seeing views of Prague on my last day.

THere is a cool modern building called the dancing buildings (called Fred and Ginger)...its not i nthe old part of town where most of the good things are but next to the river somewhere...its pretty neat.

I am not sure how prices compare to the US but its cheaper than other places but it is going up in price.

I love Prague the food is so good no matter where you go try any resturant in the main square you can't go wrong also you can get a lot of hand made toys for children when I was there the toy shops reminded me of Pinochio workshops. So cute!

For girls they have plenty of inexpensive pashminas and the commercial shopping is great too.
