What is it like living in CA?

I hear its very nice, especily further north. Also it has a wilderness, i find that cool, so what's it like actualy living there?

I live in Santa Monica, CA. It's cool, if your into the beach/surfer lifestyle. There is an amusement park on the beach it's everything to me, esp since I surf.

its alright, ive lived here for fourteen years and I'm not complaining. i live about an hour outside of los angeles. Los angeles really doesn't have much to offer, besides an airport and Dodger games...if you are really interested in moving out here, i would suggest looking into northern san diego county. There isn't much wilderness, but it sure is a nice area. It is really developing. i live in a town called thousand oaks which has plenty of open hills and places to hike and "get away." as far as northern california goes, i am not a big fan. it is mainly open grass fields up by sacramento and i havent really been any further north of that. I'd imagine it is similar. Mammoth lakes is a really neat city up hwy 395, especially if you like wintersports or mountain biking. overall california has a lot of diversity and there really is something for everyone. Funny thing about it is i am kind of sick of it and plan to move to florida next fall. hope this helped, good luck
