What is it like living in New Zealand?

I've considered studying abroad there because it is random and far away. (Virginia) Is it very different from most western countries or am oblivious?

New Zealand is a beautiful and amazing country. Many people are attracted to it because of the quality of life you can have here, we're not a crowded country and this appeals to a lot of people for obvious reasons.

it is just as modern a nation as most other western countries, we certainly have everything that you could find in America here (minus certain food items and wildlife of course, oh and no walmarts)
