What is it like living in east london?

i doing my homework and i can't find anything on the living conditions in east london.

overcrowded, cosmopolitan, noisy, expensive houses, streets are dirty. too much litter, many diverse communities, asian, afro caribbean, polish, somalian, eastern europeans, in fact united nations. not really safe at night, ok during the day. lots of take away shops. next olympic venue in the eastend. anything else you would like to know?

its mostly asians and blacks to be honest. theres some europeans.

its a dump!!! Lol. No in all seriousness its not very nice. There are nice parts like Canary Wharf, Docklands, but the majority of east london is actually a dump. Without sounding like a snob, most of the population are immigrants (especially Asians), and the poorer people. Its overcrowded, loud, and noisy.

Well, I lived in the Barbican for about a year and it's great if you like listening to yeawoling babies and the smell of curry
