I've got French, German, Scottish and Irish in me. I'm sure I have some English in me as well. Anyway, I've always been fascinated by the European's for my own reasons and I want to know what it is like living in the U.K.? I'd be willing to move there one day to see how things go and I hope some folks on here have good things to say but don't hide the bad from me either, thanks!

  1. it's western living - similar to living in america, different accent and smaller. it's hard to describe an entire way of life for an area which varies hugely

if you live in northern ireland, scotland, wales or england life will be different; then within (eg) england there's northern england which is cheaper and different to living in london and the south east... it's not really definable.

whether you'd enjoy living here really depends on where in the uk you decide to stay, and what you enjoy in life. eg london is cosmopolitan and cultural with loads to see and do, but is also very expensive and some parts are pretty grimy. cornwall is laid back with beautiful areas, but being bought out by 'second-homers'....

  2. it's OK living here i suppose. There are worse places we could be

The UK has it's good points. it's History, Culture, scenic countryside etc

but it also has a lot of bad points, such as the expense of things, everything costs so much. Also a lot of towns are very indutrialised, dating back from the Victorian days, with a lot of mills, terraced houses, that make the town look run down and dirty

alot of regeneration is needed in a lot of towns, but local councils are blind to this and seem not too bothered that there towns are going to ruin around them.

if you can live in the countryside, in villages then the UK is a nice place to live, but i would hate to live in a city or town, where things can get congested, dirty, polluted and run down.

also, our society just seems to be getting more violent as the years go by. Everyday you hear stories of murders and stabbings, which just was not the case in years gone by. Violent crime is on the increase, and it's a shame because it's ruining a once great country.

  3. its a very busy like in England! people are always rushing to go from a to b! its not a good place to relax! but its a great place to live! we have alot of things to do! London is great!

but i would live in Europe... it is far more relaxing!

can email me if you want to know more!
