What is it like on the first day of high school?

what do you have to take on the first day of high school? what if your new to the country?

its a bit nerveracking but when you find your feet its good :)

I was pretty nervous, but as soon as I got there I was fine.  People make high school out to be a big deal, but it's a breeze.  It's nothing like you see on t.v.  I just took a couple binders, pens, pencils, papers, a couple notebooks, and myself...if a teacher requires anything they will let you know during the first week of school.  Don't worry about it, you'll do great!

It's not so bad. I was freaked out and a little overwhelmed. But if you're open minded and willing to work things will be fine. Hopefully, you can get a map of your high school and maybe an experienced student could help you around to your classes. :)

its sooooooooooooooo scary lol and nerve wrecking.

i rememmber when i moved to the USA from the UK, and i had to go to a new USA school, i was soo scared, i felt so lonely, i felt like as if evryone was looking at me, wherever i went i felt like evryone was talking about me, like 'oh thats the new girl from UK isnt it'?

i felt really scared and nervous, you feel like ur the odd one out, ur lost.

but its better now once i fitted in. hope i helped! :) x*x

Its good, new subject, new friends

just always remember a pen. teachers always get angry when you dont have a pen to write with :)

kind of depressing at the first  few months.u know no one and scary

During that stage of my life, i was lucky to be studying in an international school abroad.

So for me, it was the same as last year but just different in subjects and newer friends.

i think it's really nothing to be worried about if you go to a good school.
