  1. Not massively interesting....everything's announced in English and French, they also write in Dutch on the menus. Goes really fast and you're sat in the dark for 40 minutes.

  2. It is quite cramped and usually full, and as others said, dark and overheated. However, it is ideal for those who want to work while they travel as once you get to the station, you can get on the train and there's no messing about trekking to the airport really early and sitting around etc etc.

  3. Fast and convenient London to Paris in 2 hours 15 minutes,

slightly faster to Brussels; city centre to city centre. Good connections to other parts of Europe; no long check in times or waits for baggage on arrival and much much more punctual than most airlines.

  4. I liked the old trains that rattled along the local routes, you could lean on the open window and enjoy the countryside. Eurostar has no opening windows, runs really smoothly and is overheated. Some of the seats don`t align with the windows so you can`t even look at the scenery. Not that there`s much to see in Northern France. It impressed me on the first trip but on others it ran late and missed connections. The staff were less than helpfull. Some spare trains run between London and Leeds but can`t do the full 186 mph.

  5. its realy boaring. If you want my advice go by boat of plane.
