What is it like starting secondry school?

Let's see, where should I start.  Well I was a very bad student before secondary school and I would slack off a lot and not do my homework.  I played pranks on people (yeah I know, bad).  But when I hit secondary school, I decided to step up my game and get better grades.  

When I first started out, it was a new school and everything.  I was really scared and didn't know anyone.  I was nervous and kept asking myself will I make friends? What about my grades? What if I do something bad?  Well for friends, there's almost always someone who comes up and talks to you first so that's how I made friends.  I had a group of people come up to me when I was in class and we started hanging out.  But to make friends you should go and talk to people, and smile!  It might seem hard to do, but it can benefit you after!  

Well, after I started doing my homework, and handing in assignments and studying for tests, I got pretty okay grades, maybe not the best but hey, I tried.  Sometimes you can get really mean teachers and you just have to get used to it, but there's a lot of nice teachers too, and they made my classes really fun.  For the mean teachers, try and not to talk a lot and do all you homework.  

After a few weeks in I really started to enjoy secondary school! it was really fun and you meet new people, and learn new things.  It might not seem like that at first but later, you'll have fun.
