What is it like to be a 20 year old Mexican or Mexican American man?

Question

I am a 20 year old African American man, so I do not know.

I hope to have children by a Mexican woman so my children can be what I wish I was, which is a Mexican latino man.

I'm 23, Mexican American, and live in Southern California, so life is great!  I mean, I just finished my college degree and haven't gotten married yet so thats why life is great.  I live close to my family, we all get together every week.  Southern California is a very diverse area, and we Mexicans feel at home here  :)

I am a 20 year old Mexican and I feel great, just like any other 20 yr youngster you enjoys good health and a well deserved education.

BTW I live in the states, and I feel kind of struggling somehow, like all other minorities, because of racism, corruption, stereotypes, misconceptions, and hate.

Of course I'm not saying that life in the states is bad, not at all, but there are many misunderstandings due to the lack of sensibility and effort to willingly learn from the other cultures as well.

That said, I'll finish by saying that, if given to me the opportunity to change my racial status, I would not change it because I've learned from my community and I'd like to keep it that way.
