What is it like to be a teacher? Work with children?

Question

I am deciding on whether to pursue a career in Education or in Health and Wellness. I do know that I want to help children in anything possible. I just wanted to get some feedback and opinions from teachers or anyone in healthcare that work strictly with children. What are the pros/cons for the job position you hold? Do you see yourself doing this till the day you retire? Also, can you give me some advice on how to pursue a career working with children? I want to get a bachelor's degree on-line for sure. Being able to work with children is a priviledge and a blessing for me. When you see their eyes light up when they learn something new it is a sight to behold. I love it. I personnally have found my calling.
