  1. ur kidding.. its scary excitement.. apparently ur life changes completely

    apart from work,

cuz u keep working all 9 mths i heard!!

  2. Ugh, Pregnancy is h**l for me. I hate it. My sister on the other hand loves it.

It might look cute on the outside, but inside there is:

    morning sickness

    heartburn

    indigestion

    constipation

    cramps

getting kicked in every organ possible

    extreme fatigue

no level of comfort, no matter what you try

    that pregnancy waddle

loss of bladder control (sneezing and wetting yourself)

    headaches

    nasal congestion

thats all I can think of off the top of my head, but theres many more. It is all worth it in the end though

  3. It's a constant roller coaster of emotions and feelings.  With my 1st, I absolutely loved being pregnant and missed being pregnant once I had my baby.  With my 2nd, my pregnancy had more ups and downs and I was ready to not be pregnant anymore and don't miss being pregnant like I did before.  With my 1st, I felt beautiful all the time, and with my 2nd, not so hot!

  4. I can't wait to feel "cute and have some fun".  I only just found out that I'm pregnant and my last one ended with a miscarriage so you can only imagine my fears with this one!  My husband and I have been trying to have a baby since January and it's not as easy as people might think.  I'm so scared of losing this one yet I'm so excited that I have it in me now!  I'm so nervous to tell anyone this early, just in case, but at the same time I want to scream it at the top of my lungs to my family and friends!  I would definitely explain pregnancy - at least in my experience - to be a roller coaster.  Take your time and do it when the time is right for you and your situation and I'm sure in the end you'll enjoy every minute of the ride!

  5. Well... For some women it is pure bliss. They get addicted to it and everything.

Personally Ive had HG and been super sick. Its been really bad (understatement) but there is only 1 way to the end - through it. Also 'cute' is not always great when your a woman. You dont stop wanting to be hot coz you're preggy but I know what you mean.

Also I have acne and had to get my hair cut coz i was so sick I couldn't maintain it. So dont get pregnant coz u wanna look good thats for sure.

For me and many others pregnancy is a lesson in surrender.

Best wishes for the future and I hope whenever you have kids you have a beautiful time... xxo

  6. It's an excited adventure.  It's a little scary too.  You feel like your body is no longer yours. Everything you do you think will this be ok for the baby.  Its also just amazing when you feel your baby move inside of you.  Watching your body change can be a little scary.  I never had a belly before so adjusting to life with a belly is different.

Little things become more difficult.  Hiking in the heat is so much harder then it ever was before.  Being on your feet for long periods of time hurts.  My back hurts I'm starting to walk funny.  Seeing all the cute clothes I once could fit makes me feel a little sad.

Its a beautiful and amazing thing to be pregnant but it is not always fun.  In fact it is a lot of hard work.  Yet it is always exciting. I would recommend it.

Yes and your whole out look on life changes for the better.

  7. First off, most pregnant women don't feel remotely cute! You feel huge, tired, scared, excited, fat, unattractive, s**y, happy, all in one. It is far from fun, i'm afraid-it's really hard work. You aspend most of the 9 months exhausted only to be even more exhausted once the baby comes along. it' amazing, no doubt, but by god i wish there was some way to make it easier!!!!

  8. Well, you start off by urinating on a stick, (not very attractive).  Then you find yourself thinking 1000 things in the 5 minutes you wait for the one stripe or two stripes.

Your body changes in so many ways, your thoughts change, your maturity change, your hormones do things you don't even understand.  Not even talking bout the partner who has to deal with this.  You become as we see it, fatter. Other people tell you "u look amazing, u are glowing!!!" (you wanna kill them) I mean, you buy new clothes every month, your hair is not the same, your nails are not the same, your face feel flushed, you get hot, you feel uncomfortable.... and they tell u u glow?

You hear the baby's heart beat, for one moment, you forget about every bad thing, tears so very near....

U shop till u drop when u find out the s*x, u love every moment of it, just untill the friends come over and everyone is enjoying themselves with wine and and and u CAN'T DRINK !  i mean, it's gonna take more than one glass of wine to make u forget the indigestion ur having right now.

The tummy goes bigger, the hormones explode, the baby kicks, you smile.  You start thinking of yourself in different ways.. ... This childish thing your man used to do, is not funny anymore.  I mean , how is he gonna look after a baby when he does this? You start saving you start seeing the world as this huge violent place where this kid of yours, will live.  How will you protect it?

Your extremely hungry and you hope that this kg of yoghurt will ease the irritating feeling you have. Why does no one understand you wanna sleep!?!?!?

You go into labour, it hurts, for hours it hurts like h**l.  Just before you die, you hold this tiny human being and you realise....... Life has a new meaning, from this day on, your heart will be walking outside of your body.

  9. dude above me...you dont have much luck with women do you? s**t? anyways..im a guy...i dunno lol..

What is it like to be pregnant?

  10. Scary, anxiety ridden, overly emotional, psychotic mood swings which include either screaming or crying jags.  Physically draining, Hemorrhoids, constipation, peeing all the time, swollen everything!  Wonderful when you feel the baby kick and roll around, getting big and round, feeling this bond that ties you to your child even before birth.  Words cannot adequately describe the wonderful highs and sometimes painful lows of being pregnant.

ETA Your not naive.  Its sometimes great to be pregnant and sometimes it sucks horribly.  Our experiences won't be your experiences,  It's different for all of us.  I felt like h**l my first three months. Now Im getting bigger and rounder and I feel awesome!  Oh and firefly you nailed it.  LOL!!  So true!
