What is it like to drive a city bus?

I'm about to apply for a job with VTA driving a bus and I was wondering what to expect from the public and the employer if I get the job.

I live in the Bay Area, California so I know it's going to be hard because the people here are really rude.

Any info on this will be greatly appreciated!
