  1. It's a fantastic place to live in. We have great weather, beautiful beaches and people are very friendly. Everyone who wants a job can get one and wages are high enough for even lower income earners to have a decent standard of living. We have high taxes, but we're very well looked after by our government. Our educational system is very good. Crime rates per capita are low and there's very little violent crime anywhere.

I should correct a couple of things that Maree has written. We have free hospitals, but doctors are not completely free - everyone has to pay something. Pharmaceuticals are subsidised but again, everyone has to pay something. Dentists aren't covered by the government at all. Primary and secondary schooling is mostly free, but parents still have to pay for uniforms and some other things. Tertiary education is subsidised and students get automatic interest free loans for the remainder. Nothing else is free - I don't know what she's getting at there. And the US has over 300 million people and we have just over 21.3 million.

  2. well if you have to ask you would never know, its the greated place on earth to live

    freedom of speech

    freedom of religion

    live where you want

either in the bush or the city

as you can never take the aussie out of an Australian look at nicole kidman, keith urban, greg norman, mel gibson, errol flynn,

once you live here the only regret is that you wonder why you did not come here earlier

  3. Safe, comfortable and nice.

Safe because we're so far away from everywhere else in the World that we don't have to worry about wars and stuff because it'll always be far away unless happening in New Zealand... yikes! ;-)

Comfortable because the lifestyle isn't rush rush rush, but laid back and relaxing. Work several hours then home to the family or out with friends.

Nice because there are such beautiful beaches around and the country is quite clean and some natural (as well as urban) places are just stunning.

    ;-)

  4. Like dying and going to heaven.

  5. I'd love to go there. Some Marines friends of mine went there on deployment and they had a ball.

  6. Hello. It is really nice and relaxed. It is not all go like alot of other places like US and Aussie is the same size but America has 250 million and here we have 22 million. We have free hospitals and also doctors and dentists. Alot of things are free. The government pays so much of uni fee's and tafe fee's. I just find it is nice to travel as well. Hope this helps. Take care...

P.S. Hate to say this but they have free dentist. I am not sure what state you are in but i know in the state of Qld it is free and the doctors bulk bill and that is free.

  7. it's great, mate!
