  1. I lived in Berlin and it sure is beautiful.

Landscape : Lots of lakes and parks. It's so green and full of fresh blossoms. Lot's of historical monuments and landmarks too.

Climate: Depends on the season. Snow in winter and a quite hot in summer. You know the deal.

People: They DONT speak English. So make sure you have a good friend who speaks German or have a German dictionary.

Food: Hmmmm.....lots of fatty yummy stuff. I love the Donna Kebab especially. Its my favorite.

There's so much to see....so much to take it. One of my all time fav's was the Buga Park. It's HUGE. You'll love it.

    Good luck.

  2. i went on vacation there and i wish o could live there now! the life was so simple, scenic, and wonderful

  3. I don't think there are any similarities.

  4. wouldn't it be wise to ask this in the Germany section as they would know more about their own country?

  5. Well....The nightlife is wild.....The weather is really cold for most of the year...but the people are very friendly and most of them speak English...

It's similar to Australia in that the people like to drink a lot of Beer and the people are down to earth...

Apart from that everything is different...It's a different culture, different climate, and comes from a different history to that of Australia...

Overall, I loved Berlin when I was there but it's definitely not my favorite city in the EU...
