  2. Positives:

Not a lot of crime as compared to America.

Nice place to visit, I will tell about the negatives of living later on in this answer.

Great technology, just a tad bit better than the US, not significantly but a tad bit better than the US.

    High availability of videogames.

The people there are friendly and welcoming, they tend to keep all their hatred inside them and do not let it out, which is a good thing.

Great economy, right after the US, they have the highest GDP.

    Negatives:

If you plan on living there, plan on working yourself to suicide, as their extreme work hours are to blame for them leading developed countries in suicide rates.

Extremely crowded in their big cities and plan on reading signs in Japanese if you move to rural Japan, they are not that friendly towards foreigners in there though.

Tokyo is a torn down city, do not listen to Americans corrupted by the Media, Anime, Videogames and fake research, it is not half as good looking as New York City.

I don't think you will believe me but this is typical everyday subway in the big cities of Japan

Still a lot of racism against people of African descent and even Europeans, they don't like for foreigners to stay in their country.

Expensive, REALLY expensive to buy things there compared to the US.

Congested bigger cities, rural towns are not acceptant towards foreigners for living in.

Extremely hard school system, be prepared to see your son turn into a robot.

  3. Large irritable prehistoric lizards periodically emerge from the sea to trample the cities, but other than that, very pleasant.

  4. Life's busy,mechanical,expensive, concentrated in a small(20m2) room ... But, still it's cool ..
