I have family in the Luquillo section near San Juan. They have a house on the hill overlooking the beach. It's a beautiful location close to everything.

I've lived in PR all my life and I can say that living in the metro area is very hectic, lots of traffic at all times, It will take you about  an hour just to drive 5 miles of traffic. Housing is extremely expensive and economy is going down. I only like the central towns up in the mountains and the islands of vieques and culebra, but there aren't a lot of job opportunities there.

If you like hot days and cool nights....warm people to welcome you wherever you go....then this is where you want to live...i moved here in '96 . got off the plane in Aguadilla, and never left....I'm from NY , but love PR...

puerto rico has a high cost of living ...anyway i think its kinda cool..like any other us state. the best place to live in are San Juan, Bayamon, Carolina, Guaynabo..Caguas the biggest cities ....where u can find more oportunities
