What is it like to live in a apartment?

Not bad if you don't mind the closeness of the neighbors and the parking situation or the traffic,no pets, not much privacy,  but you don't have to pay water or garbage and there are some pretty good amenties if you move to the right one, pool, rec room, gym and I have made some life long friends when I lived in apartments.

It depends on your apartment.  So far, I have lived in 2.  The first was a small townhouse.  I had neighbors on both sides, and could hear everything.  I could hear my neighbors to the left banging cabinets in their kitchen, which was adjacent to my living room.  I could hear my neighbor to the right screaming at her kids, all the time.  I could even hear the neighbors toilet flush.  There were always people coming through the complex bumping their stereos or neighbors that played their music super loud at all times of the day or night.  My apartment now is nothing like that.  It is much bigger, quiet, and the neighborhood is quiet.  Of course this apartment costs much more!!  But I like it.
