  1. That really depends on which part of the UK you are referring to, take london as an example people living in some parts of london live below the poverty line in areas with high crime rates, and gangs, bearly able to put food on the table, yet just a few miles away others are living in large houses worth millions of pounds with sports cars, designer clothes and most of life's luxaries.

  2. Everything is smaller than in the US: The grocery stores, the cars, the roads, the portions, the distances. Even ordinary buildings are much older and more interesting, and usually have long interesting histories. People have a bit of a gloomy, defeatist attitude, as if beaten down by life. Still, regular people are very open to meeting visitors, and will give help and advice when asked.

Getting around within the cities, and between cities without a car is much easier than in the US. Dogs are often allowed in stores. People have to pay the government for television licenses. Pubs are more of a social center than our bars. They will tell you ale is better than beer (I don't care for either, but a nice hard cider is a plus for England.)

I could go on, but go find out for yourself; that is the fun part!

  3. I'd definatly rather live here in the UK.

    America seems sinister and fake.

  4. that depends on whether you like constant wind, rain and can put up with lazy b******s that cant be bothered to get a job and yet still have a good standard of living off our tax.

the government is c**p but who gives.

To finally answer your question the USA seems a much better place.

  5. UK MUCH BETTA!!
