  1. I am from here so I am biased when I say that I love it here.  My girlfriend was a foreign exchange student in high school from Italy and she liked it so much she came back to go to college and get a job.

  2. The learning here depends on where you go to school and in what state. I live in Florida, and the public education here is not so great. However, the private school education is fabulous. I lived in the state of Wisconsin for a little while and learned that both their public and private schools are wonderful. If possible, I'd chose private education over public education any day.

Some places do tend to be racist, but not everyone is racist. As you know, we have people from all walks of life. There are more tolerant people here than racists, so I wouldn't worry too much. Or at least, that's my take on it.

If you do end up moving here, I hope you have a great experience! Good luck!

  3. Ok, go ahed but you may go to america , change your style , earning but when here is not bad here is good thing but world is very good thing America chnges some thing , here is changes diferent things

  4. Studying in America I'd say is different because there are people here from all over the world.  Some people here are racist but most are used to living in such a diverse country. The food in america sucks, if you like dry tasteless food then come here. Also people here eat really unhealthy trust me it's no myth. Schooling is okay I mean we take tests like ASAT and SAT in highschool and also the PLAN test. These tests supposively prepare you for college. In high school we have dances like prom, homecoming and winterfest. Before highschools have a dance they have a parade called a prep assembely where the cheerleaders and palms dance and a whole bunch of other stuff happens. The curriculim that american kids study is farther behind from that of students that go study in south america and Europe ( in other words were stupid). But I'm sure you'll like school here I think it's fun and since you come from another country you'll discover alot of intresting things. Hope this helps.

  5. I'm from Texas... even in this one state, it really depends where you go to school, not even if it's public or private, but if the school has enough money to support all their studies.  I went to a kinda poor high school, but I still feel like I had a great, well-rounded education.  And we always have three or four foreign exchange students and they always LOVE it! There's differences... it's a lot less rigorous than many other countries and, since it's Texas, we put ALOT more importance on sports and stuff.  But it's wonderful, I wouldn't trade it for anything. :)
