i think i'm going to get hired at subway and i was just wondering what it is going to be like.

if you could tell me specific things, it would be really nice. the things that bother most people dont really bother me. i have a pretty high tolerance for crappy jobs, if i know what to expect.

and what did you get payed? if minimum wage is 6.15 then should i ask for 7?

  1. My friend kate worked there and she liked it. I tried to get a job there and they never called me back. I think i am gonna apply again.

  2. I think that you will like it. I always see happy people there. Go there with a good attitude and it will reflect on your performance. I think that they will give you more than min. wage. You will learn a lot about food and people. Do the best you can and ask questions. Good luck.

  3. I used to work at a gasoline station that was combined with a subway so I saw what all went on.  It's an ok job it's not that bad.  I think the only thing I saw bad about it was well the customers.  Not all but yeah there were some who were just too picky on how exactly they wanted their sandwhich.  Also, sometimes there are people traveling like a school bus filled with kids wanting sandwhiches.  So yeah be ready to make them all.  Oh and when you chop the onions in the back with the machine.  Well you'll tear up for sure.  Just be sure to keep up with baking the bread, prep the veggies, wash the dishes and well take the orders right and you'll be ok.  Oh and you constantly have to keep re-newing the gloves they provide you with.  Meaning you use one pair of gloves to make a sandwhich with and then throw it away.  Grab another pair and start on a new sandwhich.

  4. I worked at a subway for 8 months. I thought it is 1 of the easiest jobs you can have. You pretty much make the sandwiches which aren't hard to make I mean the customers tell you how they want them. You'll have to stock up on items such as veggies, meats, etc. The register isn't to bad to handle. I say go for it. Im sure you'll get the hang of it quickly and easily.
