Question:

What is it like to work at mcdonalds? I start in a week!?

I aced the interview talking about Guitar Hero and stuff =) so i'm glad the manager was nice there, but I wanted to know what I'd be doing!

I said I like cooking and stuff with sandwiches, so what would happen? Do I get a permanent job at the back or rotate drive through and cashier etc.

Please help! =)

  1. I have worked at  McDonalds and I really enjoyed it. I worked with a great bunch of people and it was very social. They trained me in all areas but as a girl I was mainly on the register.


  2. I never worked at mcds but it will be good for you I worked at sbarros pizza for 2 years. I remeber reading an article that said never be to proud to work in fast food its the truth. Work hard make the money, and eat free food. The hardest part is getting the smell off. I would smelled like a pizza 2 years str8  :) they will give you the easiest job first probably working the register or doing prep work. they usually put the ones that sepak little english on the grill

  3. When I worked there, and this was 20 years ago, so its probably not the same, I was trained in all areas, but mostly I worked in the kitchen cooking, and I came in on Sunday mornings and counted freight coming off the truck.

  4. i worked their 16 years ago as a cashier and cleaning the dinning area they will cross train you on how to do all the jobs  

  5. I dont think it is to hard because my aunt is on drugs and she can do it so i think u would start out at register though. and Gl with it
