I am currently thinking of getting a job at the ACC. Does anybody have any experience there or know people who do work there?

Currently I am willing to work as in usher and would like to know more about that position.

Thanks for the answers

  1. I work there, have for a year.

Its got a ton of perks, get to watch concerts and games all the time, pay is good, not a ton of work, esp ushering.

some of the downfalls are the amount you have to work, there are months where you dont get a day off, due to the number of events, and everyone works pretty much every event.

The only good thing with that is, you know your schedule for the entire year cause its whatever is going on there, whcih you can find out early.

With ushering, depends where you are, you could be taking tickets, outside of the stairs, or in the stands.  stand around, direct people to their seats, keep an eye on your sections ex, no fights, drinking to much, sneaking in booze etc.  wonder around at the end of the game, making sure everyone is out of your section etc.
