What is it like to work for Verizon sales?

I just got a job at Verizon in the Sales department selling FIOS, ect, but I've neer worked for the company before. Have any of you ever worked for Verizon? Is it hard? Do people usually make 1000 a week working there, or do you have to really bust you ***?

It all depends on you. I do promotions work for Verizon in their cell phone area.  During these promotions I routinely make $150 - $200 a day.

As far as Fios goes, I don't know the pay structure, but do know that Verizon is not known as cheap.  Too, sales jobs vary because of the salesperson.

I personally know 2 people who sell for Verizon in the very same store. One is doing very well while the other is doing so-so.

Sales is always dependent on the attitude as far as I've ever known.
