Third question: Why not take the virtual tour of Depot!! :

    http://www.rcmp-grc.gc.ca/depot/

The only really down side of training at depot is that you are away from family and the night life in Regina bites!! I swear they roll up the main street at 6 pm.

The up points to going to depot are:

    1) YOU'LL MAKE FRIENDs that are with you and beside you everyday for the rest of your life!

    2) The ciriculum is not at all fast paced and the instructors are top notch , stand up guys.

    3) The course day is intense but interesting. You don't do ONE subject for 3 weeks and then move onto the next, you learn a bit of everything, everyday.

    4) The dorm is kind of like a college fraternity, it's not army barracks style, and you get your own quarters.

    5) Mess hall food is pretty d**n good.

    6) You get the weekends to yourself. Class is 08:00- 11:30 and 12:30-16:30. Mon-Fri.

    7) The gym facilities are top notch, sort of being in an Olympic village. New, modern equipment.

    8) Get in good with the stable guys and you get to play with the horses.

    9) If relatives come to visit the new museum just opened and it will give them something to do besides Casino Regina.

You can also check out the general website at  rcmp-grc.gc.ca/index

    Best of luck.

Oh, serge is REALLY itchy in the summer!!!
