What is it like when you are held over from basic training

with all the other people that are injured, suicidal ect.

Boring and depressing. The holdovers tend to spend most of their time planning futile ways to get out of the Army, and usually end up getting stuck at Jackson or Wood or some other backwoods hellhole longer than someone who stuck it out and graduated.
