could also be an ovarian cyst or gas.  Is it possible you have endometriosis?  Ppl with endo have severe pain with periods.  Did you eat anything abundantly or unusual? It could also just be gas.  Even a normal pregnancy can have some early sharp pains.

You should report any severe pain to your Dr.  I hope it's nothing serious!

omg i get them all the time n it really hurts! sometimes i cnt even walk i seen my docter n he dnt no what it is??? so i cnt help u but i get it all the time 2 xx

yes I agree it could be an ectopic pregnancy or a hormone problem..I would give nhs direct a call and ask for advice

Where are the sharp stabbing pains? If they are quite severe, you need to see a doc immediatley. It could be an ectopic pregnancy.

u must be checked buy dr if u have it for mor than 2-3 days.. maybe this cyct in ur ovary maybe pregnancy maybe it is about ur muscles or imbalance in hormon or maybe this is the sign of early ovulation and maybe it is nothing!!!!!!!!!!!
