What is it that is in my throat ?

Hi since this morning i have had this feeling that there is a hair in my throat but i cant see anything i tried gargling water, eating hard foods and drinking aswell but nothing worked. Does anyone know what it is ?Thanks.

You don't need antibiotics just for a hair in your throat.

Most infections are viral, not bacterial. All antibiotics do when you have a viral infection is allow your body to become better at ignoring the antibiotics - they should never be used casually.

Go see your doctor for a throat swab. He'll tell you if its viral or bacterial. In the meantime keep gargling with salt water and suck on a lozenge.

I had a feeling that there was a 'lump' in my throat, but when I looked, it was caused by pus from tonsillitis. If I were you, I'd go to a doctor for antibiotics~

Yeah I had that all of yesterday and most of today.

It sounds like you're getting a cold. That's what I have right now

Does it also taste sort of bad?

Try something minty it seems to ease the taste and the feeling.
