  1. Red Bull has taurine in it along with large amounts of sugar and caffeine. That is why.

    Some people drink several a day which is too much and other use it as the first responder stated in place of a sports drink. You can have one before exercise but not after.

    There are safer energy drinks though. Most of the ones in the stores are no better than Red Puke though.


  2. Part of the concern is that Red Bull is an energy drink, but it doesn’t replenish the body after physical exertion (like sports drinks such as Gatorade).

    In fact, because Red Bull has so much caffeine – it can actually dehydrate the drinker. That means if you’re physically exerting yourself and drink just a Red Bull, the lack of hydration could strain your heart.

  3. Most people will admit that after drinking most energy drinks loaded with caffeine & sugar they feel even more tired later on than they did to start with. Not too mention what it will do to your teeth. I'm sticking with XS Energy drinks. No Carbs, No Sugar loaded with Vitamin B3, B5, B6 & B12 which will give you way all day energy within 45min, three flavors are available cafeine free and they taste great.

  4. from what I read, is that they contain a lot of sugar that gives the body a small rush of energy and then eventually crashing or getting more tired. I, personally, am not a fan of Red Bull, I dont like the taste of it, unless I am mixing it with a liquor.
