  1. No. Patriots were more concerned with their fellow man and country than themselves. What we have not is a crop of politicians with their hands out for money and it is all about them and their part in the history books.

  2. Well if your are talking about residents of the United States it may start with learning how to spell the English language...after that, fighting for our freedom, voting, educating yourself about who to vote for, praising our Founding Father, and the Bill of Rights.  Yes, I think the majority of United States citizens do live up to these requirements.  For some however they love nothing more than to find fault with their own country.  Really makes one wonder...

  3. For me personally, It is being proud of your country. Knowing that America has been the greatest force for good in the last 60 years.

  4. A patriot believes in his or her country. The only thing that can fool a patriot is the government itself. The U.S. people have been fooled into thinking that their way of life is best by their own government.

  5. A patriot is someone who doesn't "blindly" follow one particular party or group and ALWAYS questions their governments motives if something seems out of whack. Some people are living up to it, others think they are because they were told that's the way it's supposed to be.

  6. Knowing and appreciating your country...warts and all.

I know all the American PATRIOTS are living up to their patriotism...If they're not, they need to leave.
