Joshua 5:6

For the children of Israel walked forty years in the wilderness, till all the people that were men of war, which came out of Egypt, were consumed, because they obeyed not the voice of the LORD: unto whom the LORD sware that he would not shew them the land, which the LORD sware unto their fathers that he would give us, a land that floweth with milk and honey.

  1. You know I think of that verse, in the morning when I am drinking milk with honey cinnamon buns, simply delicious, that's when I understand that verse, you can imagine how hard they worked as slaves in Egypt, and did not have their hearts desires of food to eat.

  2. A lot of bees and cows just hanging out.

  3. It means you have a woman.

  4. It's a metaphor for good things.

  5. Still stuck in the KJV?

  6. The land of Israel was described  as the land that flowed with milk & honey.

New Zealand is NOW the land that flows with milk & honey - come and see!

BTW, the King James Bible is the most accurate English version we have.
