When i loaded this CD to my computer which is the software for a mp3/mp4 player and tryed to move a movie from and external hard drive it changed the codex on the movies.

Hi,

This event is not unusual but can be a problem especially with games.

The installed software installs new codecs and sets them to be the default, you could try this utility to change them back. :-
