What is it with Caucasians and dogs?

It seems to me that Caucasians love and respect their dogs more than they do other races of human beings. One glaring example: several years ago the news displayed the outrage and anger of Caucasians when they heard an Asian had thrown a DOG from his car. It just so happens that a few weeks later an African American was literally torn to pieces after being tied to the back of a truck driven by Caucasian racists. Now, the Caucasian community failed to show their outrage and anger over this dastardly act. What's up? What is it between white folks and dogs?

Well I am part "white folk" and care a lot about my dogs :)

I think it is ridiculous to hate other human beings as an excuse. I get mad when people deliberately abuse animals but not in the same way I do when people mistreat one another.

The respect I have for dogs is not nearly the same as the respect I have for other human beings, but I still treat my dogs like family members.

When I came to New York from Jamaica, and saw people picking up p**p ... i was laughing like an Idiot, Where Im from dogs are half wild, You feed them but they find their own food, and its rare to see their c**p anywhere cus they know to use the bush, and they never ever come into our homes.

Animals are innocent, like children. Humans do bad things to each other - that's part of human society - but animals don't do anything except mind their own business and live according to their own nature. Humans should treat them as sacred and leave them alone.

Your observations certainly resonate with my own! However, I don't think it's just dogs. I remember a story about a man who took a broomstick to a few flamingos, and the guy was hated and chased with many tools.

Another scheduled the execution of a rat, and people were there waiting to kill HIM.

Yet there have been 30 million babies aborted in America?

Did it ever occur to you that he's talking about U.S. blacks. What makes you think he's calling all Blacks, African American?
