We had 2 series in a row where the Mets had to pitch Mike Pelfrey against the Marlins. For some reason Mike is regressing to his old habits when he faces that team. Why do you think this happens?

  1. It's psychological.  If he has one bad outing, he'll continue to have bad outings, because he's intimidated and really has no will to win.

  2. Because He chokes I guess, Pointing out to you this is August Neither the Mets or Marlins will survive into October the Rate both teams are Playing.

  3. Possibly b/c the Marlins have his number. Kinda similar to Oliver Perez who seems to always have the Yankees number.
