as far as i am concerned wing can leave the roosters now,to me he is an ungrateful rat, that has been looked after by the roosters ,even when injured in the state of origin, and no i dont wish him well just as i dont wish souths either, they are trying to buy a premiership (just like manly)but it wont work,a pox on crowe and his slimy bunch,

  1. Dont worry about it Roosterman, you have just resigned James Aubusson who has spent 2 years learning from the best hooker in the world at Melbourne Storm.

Not to forget Mitchell Pearce who in opinion is the best prospect in the NRL,  Much better than Raiders - Todd Carney.

I think the futures is looking very bright for the Roosters.

Look at this 2008 roosters team I have proposed for you,  Bristling with youth.

    --------------------------------------...

Roosters 25 man squad for 2008 will be young

    1. A Minichiello - 28

    2. J Williams - 23

    3. I Soliola - 22

    4. S Perrett - 23

    5. S Kenny-Dowall - 20

    6. S Sa - 21

    7. M Pearce - 19

    8. M O'Meley - 27

    9. J Aubusson - 22

    10. D Nutley - 34 (will retire end of 2008)

    11. A Tupou - 25

    12. C Fitzgibbon - 31 (will retire end of 2008)

    13. B Anasta - 26

    14. M Aubusson - 21

    15. L Paea - 24

    16. N Myles - 23

    17. S Shackleton - 26

    18. D Shillington - 25

    19. M Paea - 22

    20. A Harrison - 27

    21. G Ndaira - 23

    22. F Nuuausala - 21

    23. D Williams - 22

    24. A Roberts - 28 / S Foley - 22 / new outside back (most likely < 25 )

    25. J Monaghan - 26 / V Mellars - 24 / new centre (most likely < 25 )

That is a VERY young skillfull squad. Youth policy for the win.

Lewis was released because Roosters re-signed Sa to play 5-8 (Anderson prefers big skillful runners)

Soward was released because Roosters re-signed Pearce (a better allround player)

Flannery was released because Roosters re-signed Aubusson to play as our utility (younger equivalent, better attack)

Plum was released because the club chose Danny Williams over him (younger equivalent, better attack)

L'Estrange & Wing are gone &  Roosters have replaced them with James Aubusson (cheaper, more creative)

Chris Beattie will retire at the end of 2007 & be replaced by Mark O'Meley (Shrek > Beetroot)

Roberts will most likely leave because  Roosters re-sign Foley or buy a new outside back (more consistency & youth)

Monaghan will most likely leave because Roosters chose to re-sign Soliola (harder hitter, more x-factor)

Mellars will most likely leave because Roosters chose to re-sign SKD (younger equivalent, better attack)

Tonga will most likely leave because Roosters have re-signed Nuuausala (a better allround player)

  2. So firstly...you seem a bit bitter. i see where you are coming from. Craig Wing is the biggest sook (well maybe not as bad as Brett Finch but getting there). I have gone to various roosters games and functions and Wing is always there with a sour look on his face and he is doing us the favour by being there. He needs a good kick up the ***... i think moving from pretty boy territory in the eastern suburbs to redfern will be a shock

  3. like all the players that go to Souths

his career will be over i mean really they have a drumming band for gods sake

  4. Sorry must get a touch off topic and say Josh Hannay is rugby league's biggest sook, the Cowboys looked after him for many years even when his laziness and lack of form did not deserve a run, he then was offered a contract a lot smaller than the one he was on and knowcked it back because someone(dad) was telling him he was better than what he was.

Now I do not like Ricky Stuart but he obviously knows a bludger when he see's one which is exactly what Josh is and he's been dropped now he is jumping up and down while making a mess of one of Travis Norton's houses down south.

Craig has been misguided in this whole process and Souths are mainly to blame, when I say Souths I mean Crowe who thinks he is quite simply bigger than the game.

Wing has been at the Roosters for 8 years and given them a lot of loyality but quite frankly has not been used properly at late.

So from this we learn, Crowe's a fool, Wing's alright and Josh Hannay is rugby league's biggest sook.
