What is it with nasty cheap bog-rolls ?

Hi Folks,

I know that folks are increasingly looking for a better deal, I do the same.

BUT, what is the point in saving a few pence for bog-roll that is so thin you need to use twice as much, and the perforations never line up, so you use even more.

I use bog-rolls only as an example of false economy.

There are many.

Any favourite regretably similar purchases ?

Brown sauce (gotta be HP), red sauce (gotta be Heinz), Baked beans (gotta be Heinz) have tried other brands but it's a waste of money.

washing up liquid is another,, cheap c**p = half a bottle per wash!!!

Cheap tissues.  One wipe and they disintegrate.
