  1. I live in 'The Shire'. and I mention it because it's great and 1000000 times better than were I used to live. And also I mention it because as the last answer said i'm a snob, and I look down at everyone who lives in a worse area than me.

  2. Shire?

    Shire?

    what bloody Shire?

  3. I lived in the "Shire" nearly 20 years ago and it was the same then, and even worse if you live in Sylvania Waters, Gymea Bay or Cronulla.  The answer is snobbery but not all just a small percentage are like that.

  4. I'm not from Sutherland but I wouldnt say that people from the shire brag anymore then those from Perth or Melbourne.

  5. Eh?

Do we have a 'shire' in Australia? No one's mentioned it to me.

  6. It's not only people from down there who do that. I guess it's how people are today. If you're from Canterbury/Bankstown for instance, that also exists here. People will keep going like "Reppin' 2200" etc or "Livin' it up at P'Town" (Punchbowl).

You see, it's everywhere. It's normal I guess but it does get annoying eh?

  7. It is because they know the Northern Beaches are better, but can't acknowledge it.
