  1. My son was jaundice. Its is when their liver isn't working properly. Lots of sunlight and feed your baby often. I would take him in and see what is levels are at. If they are too high they may want to put him under a blue light. Its not too bad, very common.

  2. There are varying levels of jaundice.  If your son has a yellowness about him at his age, I would have him looked at.

  3. Jaundice is a condition that is most common in newborns. When the mother's blood is different from the babies, her anti-bodies can attack the babies blood, this causes their liver to not work properly. When their liver doesn't work properly, it causes their bilirubin levels to go up, which causes the yellow tint on the skin, and the whites of the eyes. Also Jaundice babies will have a yellowish line on their stomachs and backs. At 7 months old the yellow should be gone. I would call the doctor and make an appointment, it could be a sign that the babies liver isn't working properly. Until you can get him in, I would lay him in the sun for about 5-10 min a day (only in his diaper) This can help the jaundice go away. Good luck!

  5. Jaundice is a build up of bilirubin in the body. This happens in infants. At 7 months of age it is not common and could be caused by a disease or illness. It can be very dangerous. You need to make an appt.
